Aethoxysklerol® sclerosing agent, an injectable sclerosing drug for the treatment of varicose veins. It has been a leading sclerotherapy treatment in Europe for varicose veins used outside of the United States for over 40 years in millions of patients. It is currently undergoing a phase III clinical trial in the US. A company called Kreussler originally developed the agent.
