The Aquapulse is unlike any other heart rate monitor. It has no chest strap. Instead it uses infrared technology to sense your heart rate from your ear lobe. A computer then uses bone conducting technology to pass sound through your temple and into your inner ear where you verbally hear the heart rate spoken.
