LARS Artificial Ligaments

LARS stands for Ligament Augmentation and Reconstruction System. LARS products can be used to reconstruct, knees, shoulders and ankles. It is approved by several countries, in cluding Europe in the 1992 and Canada in 1993. However, its not yet approved by the FDA in the United States.
The synthetic ligaments are designed to mimic the normal anatomic ligament fibres.
