Allocure Kidney Stem Cells
AlloCure begin an AKI Phase I Clinical Trial in July 2008. AlloCure is selecting patients who are at high risk for developing AKI (Acute kidney injury) after cardiac surgery. Immediately after the cardiac surgery is completed, the surgeon will administer AlloCure’s cells to the patient. The Phase I Clinical Trial has been designed to test, in a dose escalation protocol, the safety of the cell therapy and to assess the preliminary benefit of the therapy for the treated patients.
